HOW CAN FUTURE VETS HELP
“The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.”
Future VETS
FutureVets mission
There is something for everyone within the working world of Veterinary Medicine. We need veterinary surgeons, vet nurses and vet techs as well as all the support staff that make practices and organisations run well.
FutureVets mission is to support and help provide useful skills to the next generations of vets and vet nurses. From increasing awareness of the veterinary profession in young people to providing emotional intelligence training for the industry. Future Vets has a multi-angled approach to supporting the industry at all levels. The end goal is more vets and vet nurses, more vets practising in all areas of Scotland, particularly remote and rural areas, supporting agriculture and food security, protecting public health and companion animal welfare. Ultimately, striving towards a professional environment where people dream to work, people go to work feeling inspired and leave feeling fulfilled and where support is needed, actionable and decisive appropriate measures are taken by the team to provide that support.
